The Northwest Kansas Regional Choir invites the public to attend a special patriotic concert, Celebrate 250 Years of the United States!, on Saturday, May 30 at 6:30 p.m. (Central Time) at the Gateway Civic Center in Oberlin, Kansas.
The concert will feature singers from across northwest Kansas coming together to honor America’s 250th anniversary through an evening of music celebrating the nation’s history, spirit, and shared traditions. Audiences can expect a variety of patriotic selections and uplifting musical performances designed to commemorate this historic milestone.
Directed by Kathryn Tremblay, the Northwest Kansas Regional Choir was created to provide vocalists of all ages an opportunity to continue sharing their love of singing and music-making. The choir includes both youth and adult singers from communities throughout the region and emphasizes music as a lifelong pursuit that brings people together across generations and communities.
“This concert is an opportunity not only to celebrate the history of our country, but also to celebrate the power of music and community,” said choir organizers. “We are excited to bring singers from across the region together for an evening that we hope will be meaningful, inspiring, and enjoyable for audiences of all ages.”
